Spring Installation 2003
50 Sculptures made of bamboo and rice paper move with the wind in the large scale tea garden.
The very large tea plantation is in a condition that the space where a sense of distance grieves at was compressed by the scale of a back cedar grove and the mountains of distant place. I install 50 art objects moving by wind there and am the work which treated a time element for space. A feeling of mysterious life dwells in a moving thing in the compressed space.
3 meter high sculpture made of bamboo and rice paper move in the space surrounded by a corridor of the Shimabara Culture Center.
